  November 2004 50+ Years of Experience Close to Home By: Jason Strohm Goble funeral home began in Clarion PA in 1956. It was formerly known as Jenkins funeral home. On June 22, 1956 Goble funeral home held its first open house in the building that was formerly home of the local VFW. Frederick (Rick) Goble is the second generation of funeral directors for the Goble family and has take step to advance the business over the past fifteen years. He opened his doors in Brookville PA in 1994 and formed a partnership with Jeff Baronick creating the Goble Baronick Funeral Home. In 1996 the third location was opened in DuBois PA under the same name as Brookville. The key step that Rick has taken is cremation. It is now possible to stay local with your cremation needs. Clarion’s Cremation Facility is the only one in central western PA, and Goble would like to extend an invitation to call or stop in to discuss your cremation needs. Other areas of advancement are service options, cost options, pre-arranged options, choice in location, and Goble’s grief resources. Each of these can be explained further by calling Rick or Jeff or by stopping in and seeing the resources in person.
